Privacy Policy

Last updated: 20 May 2026.

This policy covers what we collect on our website, indigopress.eu, and through your interactions with us at IndigoPress. It does not cover what IndigoPress collects on your own hosting once you install it — that runs on your server, writes to your database, and is governed by the privacy policy you publish for your own readers.

1. Who we are

The data controller for indigopress.eu is Kristoffer Hell, registered in Switzerland.

2. What we collect, and why

When you contact us

Messages sent through the contact form, the support process, or by email are stored so we can answer you and so we have a record of the conversation.

When you visit the public site

We log basic web-server access information — IP address, user agent, requested URL, time of request.

3. What we do not collect

  • We do not sell, rent, or trade your data.
  • We do not have access to the content you publish on your own IndigoPress installation.

4. Who we share data with

To operate this website, we use a European hosting provider and a European email-sending service. We share with each the data necessary for them to do their job, and we do not transfer personal data outside the European Economic Area or Switzerland except where the recipient has implemented appropriate safeguards under the GDPR (standard contractual clauses or equivalent).

5. How long we keep data

We keep your personal data as long as needed for the purpose it was collected, and then delete it, except where law requires us to keep it longer.

6. Your rights

Under GDPR and equivalent regimes, you can:

  • Access the personal data we hold on you.
  • Ask us to correct it if it's wrong.
  • Ask us to delete it (subject to lawful retention requirements).

To exercise any of these rights, write to us through the contact form.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.

7. Cookies

We do not set tracking cookies.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the current version.
